The challenge

Created as a design challenge, I revisited the project to explore how AI could transform a Figma concept into an interactive product.

  • Turn a Figma concept into a working app.
  • Build realistic interactions with AI.
  • Connect the interface to live sports data.
  • Explore AI-assisted product development.

The solution

Using AI tools, I rebuilt the concept as a fully interactive application connected to public sports APIs, generating live content automatically.

  • Recreated the product with AI.
  • Integrated English Football League APIs.
  • Generated dynamic live content.
  • Continued iterating on new features.

Project Goals

User experience

Create an immersive streaming experience powered by live sports data.

Business impact

Explore how AI can dramatically accelerate product prototyping and validation.

Value increment

Bridge the gap between static design concepts and realistic interactive products.

Process

The project combined product design with rapid AI-assisted development.

  • Designed the original concept in Figma.
  • Rebuilt the experience using AI.
  • Connected external sports APIs.
  • Iterated on interactions and user flows.

Next steps

  • Expand support for additional sports.
  • Improve AI-generated content.
  • Integrate more public APIs.
  • Continue refining the experience.

Learnings

User experience

AI enables highly realistic prototypes much earlier in the design process.

Business impact

Rapid AI-assisted development significantly shortens the path from idea to validation.

Value increment

Combining AI with live APIs creates prototypes that behave much closer to real products.

Outcomes

Current status

The project is actively evolving as an experimental playground for AI-assisted product design. The current version is connected to live English Football League data through public APIs, while new features, sports integrations and AI capabilities continue to be explored and iterated.
