I am Yola, a product designer from Valencia, Spain.

My most recent role was at Datamaran, where I designed SaaS solutions within their ESG software, helping enterprise clients like IBM and Amazon streamline sustainability reporting and better understand their risks and opportunities in the sustainability landscape. This complex industry taught me how to navigate constraints and adapt to a rapidly evolving market.

I studied UX Design and User Research at the School of Information, University of Michigan. What resonated with me most was its human-centered design philosophy, which continues to shape how I think and design.

My background is in business management, but I soon realized my strengths lay where analytical thinking meets creativity. Discovering UX and product design felt like finding the perfect balance between strategy, problem-solving, empathy, and creativity. It remains one of the best decisions I've ever made.
